1. Who is responsible
Pleezpay is responsible for personal information collected through this website, sales conversations, partnership inquiries, and its own business operations. Contact us at [email protected].
When Pleezpay processes transaction or end-user information on behalf of a business customer, that customer generally determines the purposes and means of processing and acts as controller or business. Pleezpay acts as its processor or service provider under the applicable customer agreement and data-processing terms.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and professional details, such as name, work email, company, role, website, and markets served.
- Inquiry and commercial information, such as payment volumes, existing providers, product needs, partnership ideas, and correspondence.
- Technical website data, such as IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps, security logs, and consent preferences.
- Account and platform data provided by customers and authorized users, including credentials metadata, configuration, payment-event data, webhook records, support requests, and audit history.
- Information we receive from service providers, partners, payment providers, or public business sources where permitted.
Please do not submit card numbers, bank credentials, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information through general inquiry forms.
3. How and why we use information
- To respond to inquiries, provide demos, evaluate partnerships, and take steps toward a contract.
- To provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the platform and documentation.
- To authenticate users, prevent misuse, maintain audit records, and protect our systems and customers.
- To administer customer and partner relationships, billing, compliance requests, and legal obligations.
- With consent, to measure marketing-site use through analytics. Analytics is not loaded before consent.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce agreements.
Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as operating and securing a business-to-business service.
4. How we share information
We may share information with infrastructure, hosting, email, communications, analytics, security, professional-adviser, and business-service vendors that process it for us; with connected payment providers when required to deliver an authorized customer workflow; with authorities or other parties where legally required; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google Tag Manager may be used to load consented analytics on marketing pages; it is not loaded on the hosted payment page.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and use service providers that may process information in other countries. Where transfer restrictions apply, we use a legally recognized transfer mechanism or another permitted basis as required for the relevant relationship.
6. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including the duration of an inquiry or contract, security and audit requirements, dispute and limitation periods, tax/accounting duties, and backup cycles. Retention periods vary by record type and customer agreement. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, unless law or a legal hold requires retention.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed for the nature of the information and service. No system is completely secure. Current platform controls and important boundaries are described on our Security & Trust page.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may also request information about collection, use, disclosure, correction, or deletion to the extent the relevant law applies. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If Pleezpay processes your information for one of our customers, we may direct the request to that customer.
9. Cookies and analytics
Necessary local storage remembers your analytics preference. Optional analytics remains off until you accept it and can be changed from “Cookie settings” in the footer. See the Cookie Notice.
10. Children and changes
Our business services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. We may update this notice as our services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version.
