General Terms & Conditions

Important status of this page

This page is a public summary of the commercial subjects generally addressed in Pleezpay agreements. It is not a standalone offer and does not create a customer relationship. These general terms apply only when a signed order form or other written agreement expressly incorporates them. Any signed master services agreement, order form, data-processing addendum, service level, or negotiated term takes precedence over a conflict.

1. Parties and service scope

The contracting provider is Pleezpay. The customer and subscribed services are identified in the applicable signed agreement. Service scope may include payment orchestration software, hosted payment flows, integrations, reporting, support, or advisory work. Production access remains subject to technical readiness, risk review, provider availability, and applicable onboarding.

2. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business, ownership, technical, and compliance information.
  • Use the services lawfully and only for approved products, markets, domains, and business models.
  • Protect credentials, restrict authorized access, and promptly report suspected compromise.
  • Implement the API, redirects, webhooks, and operational procedures according to documentation.
  • Maintain agreements and approvals required by connected payment providers.

3. Pleezpay responsibilities

Pleezpay provides the agreed software and support using reasonable care, maintains the platform controls described in the agreement and documentation, and communicates material service changes. Specific service levels, support windows, implementation responsibilities, and remedies apply only when stated in the signed agreement.

4. Payment-provider relationship

Connected payment providers make their own underwriting, onboarding, pricing, reserve, processing, settlement, and termination decisions. Unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise, Pleezpay is not the acquirer, payment institution, money transmitter, bank, or custodian of customer funds. Provider terms apply independently.

5. Fees and payment

Fees, currency, invoicing schedule, taxes, usage measurement, payment dates, and any minimum commitment are stated in the applicable order form. Undisputed overdue amounts may lead to interest or suspension only as permitted by the signed agreement and law.

6. Data, security, and confidentiality

Each party protects the other party’s confidential information and uses it only for the relationship. Customer data remains subject to the signed agreement and any data-processing terms. Pleezpay may use aggregated or de-identified operational information to secure and improve the service where it cannot reasonably identify a customer or individual.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

Pleezpay retains its platform, documentation, technology, and pre-existing materials. The customer retains its data, brands, and pre-existing materials. Each party receives only the limited rights needed to perform the agreement. Feedback may be used without restriction unless the signed agreement says otherwise and without identifying the customer publicly.

8. Warranties, liability, and indemnities

Applicable warranties, disclaimers, liability caps, exclusions, indemnities, insurance obligations, and claim procedures must be stated in the signed agreement. This public summary does not create or modify a warranty, cap, indemnity, or remedy.

9. Term, suspension, and termination

The service term, renewal, termination rights, suspension grounds, data-export window, and post-termination obligations are set out in the signed agreement. Urgent suspension may be available for security, illegality, provider requirement, or material service risk, subject to the agreed process.
